Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot is all about slowing down just enough to share, read, and be inspired. The link-up gets rolling every Friday at 12:00 a.m. (Pacific Time) and it runs through Sunday night, giving everyone plenty of time to join in on the fun.
Before The Merge
Happy Fall, y’all. I get a kick out of saying that. Boy, I wish the weather would change as quickly as the calendar seems to. It’s a little difficult to embrace ‘sweater weather’ when the evening temps are still in the high 60s.
Last week I shared that I’d be seeing my PCP later that day, though I wasn’t quite sure why. It turned out to be just a general wellness check (which is good), and all is well (also good). I got referrals for audiology regarding tinnitus, dermatology regarding a couple of suss spots (I’ve had previous cancer spots removed), and for a sleep study. Did you know that the initial testing is done at home? I’ll let you know how it goes.
One last mention before we move forward to the next stop: I’ve pulled a few posts from my blog that you might find enjoyable. I hope you’ll take a few minutes to read and leave a comment.

- Melynda from Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household – The name says it all. She and her family homestead in East Texas, with three generations sharing the land. Between gardening, chasing chickens, and knitting, Melynda still finds time to cook and bake from scratch!
- Lisa from Boondock Ramblings shares about the fiction she writes and reads, her faith, homeschooling, photography, and more.
- Cat from Cat’s Wire has what she calls a jumping spider brain. Cat has many interests and will blog about whatever catches her attention — crafts, books, old movies, collectibles, or random things.
- Rena (that’s me!) from Fine-Whatever — where style, self-expression, and a dash of humor all find their lane.

Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot is all about connection and creativity. Each week, a different participant is featured to help us get to know one another a little better.
