For the March installment of my 21 In ’21 series, I’ve got a list of 21 delightful reads for you to view and see if they ring your bell as they do mine.

Like in 21 In ’21: Blogs To Discover and 21 in ’21: Instagram Accounts To ❤, I am publishing a post on the 21st of each month that lists 21 of my top recommendations/favorites/ideas as they relate to that month’s topic. Limiting the list to 21 might seem restrictive (and I might sneak in a couple extra) but think of it as an ice-breaker exercise. Or a conversation starter on something interesting you’ve read recently.

And like in those previous installments, the list of delightful reads you’ll see below is not limited to one specific niche. Some of them are fashion/beauty-related, others are food-related or about trending issues, and of course, mostly geared towards topics that interest me. After all, it’s my list. The sources for these articles vary from news organizations, websites, blogs, and social media. One is technically not a read; it’s a video (but still delightful ?). And, you’ll find that there is no particular order to the list. Specifics of the outfit I’m wearing will be provided after the list.

Regarding my outfit, it’s another mix of retail purchases and thrift store finds. Of the retail purchases, which are the jacket, the belt, and the shoes, only the belt was bought recently. But of course, it was on clearance. The jacket, although bought in October 2019, has proven to be more of a Spring/Summer favorite as seen in last April’s Would You, Could You? Tie-Dye & Stripes post and then in July’s Hello, Yellow! – Magnificent 8 Collaboration post.

As for the thrifted items, there’s the top, the wide-leg jeans, and the pin. The top, which has what I’ve seen described as a painterly pattern in a mix of Springish colors, is one of the items shown a couple of weeks ago in Thrift Store Finds And OOTDs: February 2021. I bought the wide-leg jeans over a year ago and originally I’d thought to shorten them into crops. So, they’ve been in the project pile until recently. Now, I’m rethinking that plan. The pin was one of the three I picked up in February and shared in Be Still My Heart.

Of course, as a conversation starter, I could talk about a topic that I’ve written about or one that I’m working on for a future post. If asked what you’ve read lately, how would you answer? And, one last question … how are you doing now that two months and 21 days have already passed in 2021?

Stay well and let’s keep in touch! Subscribe, tweet, follow, friend, pin … all options are available. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

  4. I love the striped jacket with the printed top! And these look like good articles, thanks for sharing! I mostly just read blogs and parenting articles online, haha! I have been reading a few books from the library though I’ve been enjoying a lot lately!

Hope you are having a good week 🙂

  5. Thank you for the links – I’m checking a couple of them out. : )

I love the outfit – don’t hem the jeans! They look fabulous on you as they are and make your legs look so long! Cropping them will stumpify you – it’s a really hard silhouette to pull off.

If you asked me what I’ve read, I’d say, “I tried re-reading Julian May’s Pliocene Exile saga – all 9 books of it – and got 3 books in and gave up. Dang. But now I can free up nearly an entire shelf for more books. I’m finishing “Americanah” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and it’s excellent, about the experience of a Nigerian woman coming to the US (it’s fiction).

    Have a good weekend, Rena!
